U.S. economy is already adding jobs, analysis finds


Improvement in the U.S. job market might be taking place but is going largely unnoticed. The service sector, which accounts for 86% of employment, added 58,000 jobs last month, the second month of improvement. Initial claims for unemployment benefits remain at a historically high level, but the four-week rolling average for such claims is 474,000, the fewest in more than a year. Slate
